Like Scorched Earth, an artillery game featuring tanks shooting at each other. The twist here is that there are mirrors on the board, which can be moved and rotated by the players. These mirrors are both used for offence and defence: rebounding shots, etc.
Each turn players could both move/place/rotate a mirror, and shoot. So a mirror phase and a shooting phase. There would probably need to be some limitation on where mirrors could be placed. Plenty of scope for different modes with different rule-sets. There could be multiple mirrors on the board, but only one can be moved a turn, there could be a one-mirror-only mode, a messy real-time mode, there could be additional weapons that break mirrors, skip along the ground...
