Using your own domain name
- You have to be a HOTGLUE Supporter ($$$).
- Acquire your domain name.
- At the place where you purchased it you will have to find the settings. They may be called DNS Settings.
- Set the 'A Record' to
141.138.136.200
- Set the 'AAAA Record' to
2a01:7c8:aaaa:1d6:5054:ff:fe45:eddb
- Wait an hour for the changes to take effect.
- Go to the 'Own Domain' section of http://hotglue.me/account and test if they're connected.
Changing the Favicon
The favicon is the icon that appears before the page title in a browser tab, and bookmarks. Usually these are 16×16 pixels, but larger versions are used by phones.
The solution I've used before is to host the file I want to use elsewhere, but apparantly you can just drag the image into the browser window. I don't know if you need to hide it or something after.
- Can I change the HOTGLUE favicon? - DanjaVasiliev's posts here are helpful.
