Sandbox Game Maker (AKA: Platinum Arts Sandbox, Platinum Arts Sandbox Free 3D Game Maker, ...) is a game making tool that uses the same 'Cube 2' engine as Cube 2: Sauerbraten, so building stuff it pretty neat and Minecrafty.

According to the FAQ page on the website it's now considered a level editor, best used to export .OBJ files to use elsewhere.

The purpose of Sandbox is to quickly and easily create new worlds and levels. Maps can even be exported as .obj files and imported to popular engines such as Unity. Priority will certainly be focused on D.’s Sandbox but I would like to refocus Sandbox as a level editor since it is so powerful as one. It can even be used to make levels and objects for D.’s Sandbox.

I think it's still neat as a way to make structures and walking sims. There are a bunch of half-finished things included which are fun to wander round in too.

The Sandbox Game Maker developer is now working on a tool called MAGE, built off Minetest.
