Jupiter Engine is a template for making text-based game with HTML, CSS, and Javascript. Instead of links taking you to new pages, each one opens a new window/panel, which you can rearrange, so player's can organise the bits as the see fit. There are some fun things authors can do too, my first thought was have windows with graphics that reveal things depending on how they're arranged.
